Come What May

Writer's picture: Always GracefulAlways Graceful

Often times we say things quickly not assessing how much they mean. I was taught as others "say what you mean, mean what you say". This beautiful, interesting, year of NO rules has left many thoughts for us to ponder. Come what may! I used to say this because it was part of a great Gospel song. Come what may! It is also an awesome love song. Today these words can go spiritual or natural. The entire phrase is definitely appropriate for 2020. Have you considered "Come what may" in your mindset as a confident response?

In the natural I want to be free mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically. Come what may! My alter ego can handle the consequences, shoot shots, make biz plans, and gracefully execute. Too bad that's fairytale like behavior. In the spiritual I want to teach the discipline, pray for those truly seeking, minister to the persons who desire to knooooow God differently yet CANNOT let the alter ego fade...... Come what may! We want what others have yet we have not a clue what they went through. We claim to want the desires of our heart yet we have not aligned our thoughts to the plans of our Maker. We claim to be victorious yet straddle the fence with right and wrong. Come what may! 2020, has taught me so much about lyrics, properly stating things, love and meaning to my imperatives. No rules is how I have embraced this year. Setbacks became the norm and response was everything.

Come what may, God wants a YES! This response wins every time. You want new, claim it and mean it. You want better, be neighborly and watch God. Allow folks to bless you as

you have blessed others. Stop being scared of living your truth, being your natural, spiritual self. Society says one thing however scripture challenges us to be not of this old, foolish world. I'm rolling with Come what may and again saying Yes! Yes guarantees my mindset, my stance on holiness is still the way to go, and my boldness for my actions when I say Come What May!

Check out these two songs:

God Wants a Yes by James Hall

Come What May by Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman

Self control is strength. Calmness is mastery. You have to get to a point where your mood doesn't shift based on the insignificant actions of someone else. Don't allow others to control the direction of your life. Don't allow your emotions to overpower your intelligence. Morgan Freeman. God bless you, Monica! Dean
